Jorge spends much of his time writing and developing innovative online and nonline marketing campaigns for internationally recognized bands and musicians like OK Go and bunches of Warner Brothers recording artists like Green Day, Josh Groban and Madonna. Ever heard of them? According to his mom and girlfriend, Jorge's viral marketing expertise single-handedly won OK Go a Grammy for their short form video "Here It Goes Again," which landed on YouTube, then spread worldwide like some sort of beneficent bird flu. The band's moms and girlfriends are more skeptical. Though he lives the kind of cutting edge, youth-driven life recognizable to fictional secret agents and readers of large format glossy magazines, Jorge still enjoys dabbling in old-timey technology. He writes, sometimes with pen and paper, and also enjoys delving into television and radio. His work can be heard on This American Life, and he is a frequent contributor to WireTap, a radio program that is broadcast each week to the grateful people of Canada. Jorge has also developed a food show concept for public radio. It needs a sponsor, so email him at jorge<at>jorgejust.com if you have a bazillion dollars to burn... on something awesome. Non-bazillionaires can go to hell. |
